  1. I am sorry for this late post, but here it goes-
-Single,46 y.o Black woman, 4 children-3 are grown. Lived in Washington for 18 years.
-Moved to a home in W Seattle this summer w/Section 8 voucher. Left bills owing from last place but was not evicted.
-Is on SSI-she has physical issues as well as bipolar disorder. Has chore services 5 days a week; her adult daughter is doing this.
-Came to Wellspring looking for deposit and rental assistance. We couldn't help her with that but able to help with utility bills (paid about $1000).

-I do bimonthly home visits with her; her place is generally chaotic, with lots of different branches of family coming in and out. The house is always messy/dirty. Have done a little work with her around being a "good" renter as well as how to keep utility costs down.
-Last time she had slipped and fallen at the Y and was laid up in bed. Empty food containers were everywhere, along with clothing, etc. She stated feeling overwhelmed.
Would like to continue exploring this and other things with her planfully and sensitively.
